A Classic, timeless and elegant wedding.
Welcome to Bell Recó, a timeless summer estate nestled in the lush surroundings of Maresme. Steeped in history, this exclusive venue has been cherished by the Catalan bourgeoisie since its inception in 1940. After 12 years of meticulous construction, Bell Recó was finally inaugurated in 1952, becoming a sanctuary of elegance and refinement.
As you step into the estate, you’ll be greeted by a meticulously arranged garden spread across three levels, with the house majestically perched on the uppermost tier. The facades of the house showcase stunning polychrome sgraffito designs, skillfully crafted by Francisco Labarta, capturing the essence of Catalonia’s cultural influences from all directions.
Inside, the main hall, lounges, dining room, and bedrooms are adorned with exquisite decorative elements. Granite, sourced from the very quarry located on the property, and wood take center stage, creating an atmosphere of timeless beauty and sophistication.
One of the standout features of Bell Recó is the breathtaking dome painted by the renowned artist Josep Maria Sert. A close family friend, Sert painted the magnificent dome on canvas in his Paris studio before it was carefully transported to Argentona. The estate is also adorned with stunning works by painter Josep Obiols i Palau, while the meticulously designed gardens bear the signature touch of landscape artist Joan Mirambell. Francisco Labarta himself completed the final touches, adding his artistic flair to every corner of the house.
Whether you’re dreaming of a romantic wedding, a luxurious event, or simply seeking inspiration, our Bell Recó tour provides a glimpse into the possibilities that this extraordinary venue offers.
